3 Receive your results
A Level results day is Thursday 12th August 2027. All subjects and exam boards publish grades on the same day.
If you are sitting your exams as a private candidate, your results will normally be provided directly by your exam centre. It is a good idea to check with your centre beforehand to confirm how results will be issued, as some centres ask candidates to collect them in person, while others send results by email or post.

The AQA A Level Physics exam is open to private candidates and adult learners. It assesses core physics knowledge, practical skills, data analysis and an optional topic in Paper 3.
Paper 1

Measurements and their errors, particles and radiation, waves, mechanics and materials, electricity, and periodic motion.
Format
60 marks of short and long answer questions plus 25 multiple choice questions on content.
Paper 2

Are there entry requirements for A Level Physics?
