Are there any entry requirements for the A Level Law exam?

Which exam board does Pass offer A Level Law through?
Pass currently offers A Level Law through OCR (H418). For a board-neutral UK reference, GOV.UK’s A Level Law subject content sets out the subject content required across GCE AS and A Level Law specifications.
Can I book an A Level Law resit as a private candidate?
Yes. You can book an A Level Law resit as an external or private candidate, and Pass will help arrange your exam entry at a suitable centre. For learners comparing private-candidate options across subjects, Pass’s A Level exam booking page explains how private entries work more broadly.
Does A Level Law include coursework?
No. OCR A Level Law (H418) is assessed entirely through three written examinations, with no coursework, controlled assessment or practical component to complete.
Can I sit my Law A Level online?
No. All A Level Law papers must be sat in person at a registered exam centre. Pass will confirm your centre details ahead of your exam date. For other subjects, Pass offers both exam booking and an online course bundle through A Levels online, though exams themselves are always in person.
